Children enter our early years settings with a vast range of communication and language experiences.
This two part course will focus on the importance of high quality interactions, what they look like and how we can use interaction in our everyday teaching in order to improve outcomes for all children.
Course Objectives
The course aims to explore:
- develop practitioner knowledge and confidence to identify children who may be at risk of delay in communication and language; - offer practitioners core skills and practical approaches to improve the quality of interactions with individuals and groups of children; - explore ideas that encourage parents to support and promote their children’s communication and language at home.
