Cornwall Council policy requires every school to have a designated Educational Visit Coordinator (EVC) who has completed the local authority EVC training. This person can then advise leaders in all aspects of planning and organising a visit. This applies to all maintained schools and other schools which have bought into the Safety on Educational Visits Service Level Agreement (SLA).
This course is designed for new EVCs in schools but can also serve as a refresher for EVCs who have not kept up with their three-year revalidation training.
Cost £150 for Cornwall Outdoors Safety SLA member, £180 for non members.
