Course Description
How to support deaf learners in your classroom. Practical strategies and background knowledge to make your classroom a good place to learn for deaf children and young people. The course lasts around an hour, with any further time for Q&A agreed between the course tutor and the delegates.
Course Objectives
• Understand how different types of deafness affects learners • Learn a range of classroom strategies you can use today • Know your responsibilities under the Equality Act and the SEND Code of Practice
