This training will share the knowledge and skills to enable staff to plan a supportive transition for all children, including those who may find it difficult to manage their feelings and behaviour.
The course aims to:
- recognise our responsibilities in delivering inclusive practice which meets the personal, social and emotional development needs of all children; - focus on the underlying reasons that some children have difficulty managing their feelings and developing relationships; - explore ways to support children who are having difficulty managing their feelings and behaviour and developing relationships; - enable staff to feel confident in planning a supportive transition.
