A training course with some practical elements to introduce delegates to Visual Impairment, barriers to learning that this may cause and strategies to help overcome them.

| Course Objectives |
By the end of the course, delegate will
• Understand how visual impairment affects learners
• Understand the role of the Teacher of Visually Impaired
• Know some strategies for supporting students with visual impairment and modifying curriculum resources
• Understand the role of the Habilitation Specialist and know some sighted guide techniques
