Course Description Aimed at managers and lead practitioners in early years settings in the private, voluntary and independent sectors, childminders, school based nurseries.
(There will be a separate session for Reception staff in schools.)

A one hour information session to help you to get to grips with the new non-statutory EYFS Development Matters document.

It would be helpful, but not essential, to review the document yourself prior to the session.

Course Objectives The session aims to:

- familiarise early years practitioners with the new non-statutory Development Matters 2020 document which can be used from September 2021;
- look at the changes and key features of this new document and how it might impact upon early years practice and provision.
