Course Description |
Overview: Fostering adolescents can be fun, rewarding, tiring, thankless and exasperating. Join other foster carers who are or soon will be fostering an adolescent. Reminisce about your own teenage years, gain an understanding of the teenage brain and the impact of trauma and attachment on puberty. Learn the importance of being that ‘one special person’ who buckles up and holds on through the tears and laughter. |
