Course Description |
Only for practitioners who have previously completed the KCA online e-learning ‘The role of the early years SENCO – part one’ (last term’s EYFS13).
A follow up two hour webinar from Cornwall Early Years Service with specific information regarding support for children with special educational needs in Cornwall
This webinar follows on from the Kate Cairns Associates online e-learning: The role of the early years SENCO (Course EYFS13) and will explore the identification and referral process to the Early Years Service. This will include assess, plan, do, review paperwork and the graduated response for supporting children with special educational needs in Cornwall. We will also share information about the early support team around the child (TAC) process.

Course Objectives |
The webinar will enable you to:
- understand the role of an early years SENDCo; - understand the responsibilities of meeting the needs of children with SEND; - be knowledgeable about the processes for accessing support in Cornwall; - understand and implement the graduated response. |
