Course Description Aimed at EYFS practitioners working with children in the private, voluntary, independent and maintained sectors. Family workers and health professionals.

This session will cover stories, nursery rhymes and resource vocabulary for early years, taught in a practical and relaxed environment.

Participants will be emailed signs delivered after the training.

Led by a Makaton Regional Tutor 
Course Objectives The course aims to:

- provide resource vocabulary to support children’s communication in early years settings;
- raise awareness of ways in which we communicate;
- support practitioners in their accuracy and delivery of Makaton signs;
- use Makaton signs in familiar stories and nursery rhymes.
