|  | Starts: | Thursday 21 January 2021 09:00 - 15:30 | Code: CAL01 |  |  |  | Venue: | Dolcoath Council Offices, Floor 2, West Wing, Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne, TR14 8SX | Map | |  |  |  | About this course | This 3 day course covers: • The nature of dyslexia • Phonology, reading and spelling • Memory • Mathematics and dyslexia • Creating a positive classroom climate • Assessment and intervention programmes • Partnership with parents and pupils • Supporting literacy needs in the classroom • Exploration of resources to support children and young people on the dyslexic spectrum On day three, there will be a half-day session specifically for those schools who wish to work towards the IDFS+ quality mark.
Course dates: 21st, 22nd & 25th January
Refreshments will be available from 9.00am; the course will start at 9.30am. The cost covers up to two members of staff from the same school. Lunch will be provided – please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book. There is very limited parking, please car share where possible.
