| | Starts: | Thursday 14 January 2021 09:00 - 13:00 | Code: CLO34 | | | | Venue: | Delaware Outdoor Education Centre, Drakewalls, Gunnislake, PL18 9EH | Map | | | | | About this course | The national Water Safety Management Programme is a suite of interlinked training awards, specifically designed to assist those organisations with employees who work in, or near water to meet their civil and statutory safety management obligations.
The awards in this programme bridge the gap between no qualification and full lifeguard. It is not an award that will replace the lifeguard award but is an excellent way in which competency in and around water may be demonstrated.
This programme is progressive so everyone starts with the foundation Basic Water Safety Awareness award ( a self-study unit followed by a half day guided Learning Unit) and may move into a range of Environment Specific awards ( including River, Still Water and Beach) leading, where required, to In Water Rescue Award. | | | | | Course closed to new requests | Full Details | Print Course | | |
