CPD Opportunities 2 courses found | Back to course list | Page 1 of 1 | Starts: Thursday 23 June 2022 09.15-15.00 Inclusive Dyslexia Friendly Schools+ three-day course Venue: Microsoft Teams This 3-day course covers: • The nature of dyslexia • Phonology, reading and spelling • Memory • Mathematical challenges • Creating a positive classroom climate • Assessment and intervention programmes • Partnership with parents and pupils • Supporting literacy needs in the classroom • Exploration of resources to support children and young people with cognition and learning needs Specific session for those schools who wish to work towards the IDFS+ quality mark. Refreshments will be available from 9.15am, the course will start at 9.30am. Lunch and resources will be provided. The cost covers up to two members of staff from the same school. It is essential that a senior leader is one of the members of staff attending the training sessions. Please read our cancellation policy before booking. Please note that it may become necessary to run these sessions virtually via Microsoft Teams, this will depend upon the latest guidance from the government. Cost will be £160 if face to face and £60 if virtual.
